Kris Stringer

Kris Stringer joined the First State Bank team in 2011 as a temporary summer hire. Soon afterwards, she assumed the position of Customer Care Representative and eventually became the Loan Processing Administrator, where she discovered her passion for real estate. In 2018, Kris accepted a position as a Real Estate Processor in the bank’s Credit Department, where she continues to help train all new Loan Processors. In March 2020, she accepted a position as a Secondary Market Loan Manager. In November of 2021, Kris accepted her current position as Loan Operations Supervisor.

Kris has been married to her husband, Norman, for 35 years and together they have 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family and serving others at her Church. Kris is also a member of the Athens Kiwanis Club.
