Pam Johnson started her banking career in June 1985 before coming to First State Bank in 2004. Being in banking for 30 years, she started as a part time teller at the Tyler Street Branch while getting her associates degree in Business and Office Administration from Trinity Valley Community College. She has worked in numerous departments within the bank including teller, new accounts, loan secretary and bookkeeping. Pam's current position is as an Assistant Vice President and the Assistant Cashier.
Community involvement is very important to Pam. She has been involved in several organizations including the Henderson County girls Softball Association, Henderson County Humane Society Board, Athens High School Athletic Booster Club Board, and Athens High School "Project Graduation" and currently is a member of the Athens Kiwanis Club.
Pam and her husband Johnny live in Athens, Texas, and they have two children.
